About Altitude810 Vet Sono Services
Our Story
Altitude810 was founded by Dr Rayshelle Finch (PhD) and Dr David Hunter to raise the standard of veterinary ultrasound education and imaging support.
Dr Finch brings more than 30 years of medical ultrasound and echocardiography experience, while Dr Hunter contributes over 35 years of veterinary clinical practice.
Together they created Altitude810 to provide high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services and structured education, supporting veterinarians who wish to integrate ultrasound more effectively into everyday clinical practice.
The Altitude810 training framework is built around the RAPID Clinical Ultrasound system, developed to provide clear and reproducible scanning protocols for clinical decision-making.
Our Approach
Altitude810 was created to support veterinary professionals through both advanced ultrasound imaging services and practical ultrasound education.
Our Vet Sono Services provide high-quality veterinary ultrasound imaging, including abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, thoracic ultrasound, small parts imaging and pelvic/reproductive studies for small animal practice.
These services allow veterinary clinics to access advanced diagnostic imaging while keeping patients within their familiar clinical environment.
In addition to imaging services, Vet Sono Services provides structured ultrasound education designed to help veterinarians and clinical teams develop confident scanning skills and improve clinical decision-making.
Altitude810 Combines:
Veterinary clinical interpretation
Structured ultrasound training
Ultrasound system onboarding and optimization for veterinary clinics
Practical scanning protocol
Real clinical case discussion
This integrated approach supports veterinary professionals in both accessing expert imaging when needed and developing their own ultrasound capability over time.
